About this service
Better Living at Thompson House is a 136-bed long-term care home providing semi-private accommodations for individuals who have complex medical or support needs. Our highly trained and caring staff work in partnership with our Residents, their families and the Residents Council to ensure that the highest standard of care is consistently delivered and the individual needs of each Resident are met.
Thompson House is a smoke-free and climate controlled home providing medical, nursing, physiotherapy, recreation, social work, chaplaincy, hairdressing, housekeeping, laundry and food services to Residents. Our team of professionals and support staff deliver excellence in service in every aspect of restorative, rehabilitative and palliative care. Individuals who call Thompson House home are encouraged to maintain independence and achieve their best quality of life through physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and social activities.
