About this service
Attendant Care Services provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living in the home, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and helping with range of motion. Attendants will provide physical assistance with activities of daily living such as personal grooming, transferring, dressing, bathing, meals, ventilator and tracheotomy services, and more.
Who can use it?
In order to be eligible for service, clients must: have a permanent physical disability or acquired brain injury. Be 16 years of age or older be a resident of ontario have a valid ohip health card be able to direct his/her care (be capable of managing, determining, and communicating when and how he/she needs assistance and is able to co-operate with this provision) be eligible for specific aging at home programs not be in receipt of insurance funds
