About this service
The Adult Day Centre at Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities caters to adults aged 55 and older who are frail, diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other dementias, living with disabilities, or socially isolated. It offers therapeutic and recreational activities, providing caregivers with respite. Transportation and meals are available for Scarborough residents, with daily fees applicable. The program also includes the Active Minds Club in partnership with the Alzheimers Society of Toronto, targeting adults with Early Onset Dementia. Admission is based on individual assessment and requires referrals by Home and Community Care.
