About this service
The Support Services for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse program provides free and confidential help for any male who has experienced the trauma of sexual abuse/assault/violence, both recent and historical. Family members and significant others can also access free counselling to support their loved ones. The program is designed specifically to meet the needs of men in a way that speaks only to men. Regain a sense of control over your life with positive coping skills. We are here for you.
Approximately one in six men will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime. If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual abuse, you are not alone and there is help available.
Survivors also have access to a 24-hour, multilingual, toll-free phone line for immediate crisis and referral services at 1-866-887-0015.
The program is the first of its kind in Canada and is proudly funded by the Ministry of the Attorney General.
