About this service
Our goal is to have the successful inclusion of children who have special needs into licensed childcare programs.
What we offer:
Community Living Timmins Intgration Communautaire offers Inclusive Childcare Resource Consultants who provide support to children with special needs, their parents/guardians and to childcare centres that have been referred to Childcare Resource Services.
The Inclusive Childcare Resource Consultants also provide assistance in obtaining necessary services, equipment and case management for children who meet the definition of special needs.
Referrals to the program can be made by childcare educators, parents/guardians, doctors or therapists.
Services are available in French and English. The child does not need a formal diagnosis to be referred.
