About this service
The Orthotics Clinic is offered monthly to children receiving physiotherapy services through the Cochrane Temiskaming Childrens Treatment Centre and who require the application of orthoses. An orthosis is an externally applied device used to modify the structural and functional characteristics of the neuromuscular and skeletal system. The clinic is provided by Nipissing Orthopaedic Laboratory Inc., by Certified Orthotist Marc Tessier.
