About this organization
I am a registered Master's of Social Work counsellor, having received my MSW from Lakehead University. Prior to entering Social Work I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology as well as a concurrent degree in Education. Previously, I was a full time elementary school teacher in Thunder Bay and subsequently I worked for a number of years in the medical field in pharmaceuticals. In addition, I have volunteered for many years with a non-profit palliative care organization and completed my master's project work primarily in grief and bereavement. I have worked both within a clinical setting providing individual counselling as well as in a group setting with respect to residential addiction programming and organized grief groups.
