About this service
The Quinte West Youth Centre (QWYC) offers a Mental Wellness program that educates and supports the mental health of youth. The program teaches coping mechanisms, provides information on mental health illnesses, and aims to end the stigma around mental health. It is intended to equip young people with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their mental health. This program is available every evening. Other programs offered by QWYC include culinary education, support for LGBTQ+ youth, empowerment programs for girls, and assistance for homeless or at-risk youth.
