About this service
The AMHS - HPE - Trenton - Housing program, overseen by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Hastings Prince Edward, provides assistance to individuals needing affordable, accessible housing. The Housing Resource and Coordination support not only helps clients find and secure housing within their preferred community, but also supports in the arrangement of utilities and liaising with landlords or income sources. The program also provides short-term residential crisis services for individuals who have come into contact with the law and are experiencing a mental health crisis. Additionally, there are two fully furnished group homes operated by the organization. These services are primarily accessed through referrals from healthcare resources, crisis intervention centers, and internal referrals.
