Bayfield Treatment Centres

Our programs offer care, treatment and private school education for girls and boys experiencing behavioural, psychiatric and neuro-developmental disorders, often with a co-morbid diagnosis, commonly manifesting themselves in extreme behaviour. Many youth referred have experienced significant trauma in their lives, often resulting in high risk taking behaviours including aggression to others, self-harm, running away and substance abuse.

Bayfield Treatment Centres provides both family based care and staff supported milieus that promote a sense of belonging, develop trust and mutual respect and foster an appreciation for the rights of others. We provide a comprehensive approach to treatment planning, using both individual and group formats to examine the youths experiences of victimization, sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, family violence, exposure to substance abuse, as well as deficits in social skills and self-esteem.
