Bayfield Treatment Centres - Bayfield School

Bayfield School is a private school inspected bi-annually by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The program undergoes an inspection, accreditation and licensing process in which our program delivery is reviewed to ensure that our policies and practices are consistent with Ontario Ministry of Education policy in relation to curriculum content and delivery, assessment and evaluation of student learning, as well as reporting and record keeping. Bayfield School is a multi-dimensional special education program with a capacity of 90 students and a diverse staffing compliment of teachers and Educational Support Staff.

The program is structured to meet the educational needs of hard to serve youth and youth with psychiatric and/or behaviour problems in a range of ages and abilities. The typical student at the Bayfield School has not enjoyed success in school and has historically presented as high needs in the academic milieu.
