About this service
YES has a transitional housing facility, providing a place where youth can live in safety and stability, with the support of a mentor. Abbott House, our transitional housing facility on Water St. N., provides a place where youth can live in safety and stability for up to a year, with the support of a mentor to move forward on their life goals. Participants pay a monthly fee and are expected to help with a weekly chore, meet with the House Mentor, and attend house meetings. When participants leave they have learned some life skills and have a landlord reference to support them in finding and keeping their next home. A savings program helps them with next steps.
