About this service
La Boussole's mission is to offer psychosocial support services to the entire student body as well as to evaluate and recommend academic accommodation measures for students with disabilities. In addition, La Cit College employees can count on the services offered by La Boussole to support and guide them in their interventions with students who are experiencing difficulties (eg anxiety, depression, suicidal crisis, trauma, etc.). La Boussole also acts as an agent of inclusion by providing an informed, non-judgmental space where it is possible to openly discuss the issues facing students.
What services are offered at La Boussole?
- Psychosocial support service for all students;
- Assessment service for academic accommodation measures for students with disabilities;
- Support service offered to college staff regarding students.
- The three types of services are offered through a one-stop-shop, or through a CHOICE appointment.
