About this service
The goal of this program is to provide assistance to women who have left or are thinking of leaving an abusive relationship. The program is available to women of all cultures, religions, ages and sexual orientations.
The program provides:
- assistance with a referral to a womens shelter
- information, referrals and advocacy regarding housing, financial assistance, legal assistance, health needs, language interpretation, accompaniment and counselling services
- safety planning
- creation of a transitional plan
Cost: Services for this program are free. Language interpretation and sign language can be arranged if required.
