About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: We continue to support families by providing workshops online.
Empowering Families: A free program for parents & caregivers of black children ages 6 to 11.
This program recognizes the diversity and strength that exists within families in the black community and aims to empower and support parents and caregivers of black children.

Each week, new themes will be presented. Facilitators will provide information that is relevant to parenting today and provide opportunity to learn from each others successes and challenges. The overall goal is to strengthen our relationships with our children and enhance our efforts for our children to thrive in the community in which we live.
