About this service
In this 10 week online program young parents will discuss parenting literature in terms they can understand in a safe environment. They will build a support system among the group, enhance their self-esteem, develop confidence in their parenting skills and develop an understanding of how to obtain supports and help when needed.
The program will review and explore basic parenting skills, the top 10 parenting skills, explore living skills vs life skills and how they relate to parenting, explore the gift of discipline and so much more. Participants will receive great resources, a certificate of completion, a self-care kit, and support from an instructor with over 15 years of experience working with children, as well as two grown children and four beautiful grandchildren.
