The goal of Victim Services is to assist police services, community partners, emergency services and community members in meeting the immediate emotional and practical needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstance.
Dealing with crisis is something we may all face at some point in our lives. Tragedy can strike anyone at anytime. In addition to fear, rage, isolation and confusion, victims may experience intense mental and physical distress.
Immediate emotional support and practical assistance can often help victims cope with a crisis more effectively. Manitoulin Northshore Victim Services can provide this assistance.
