About this service
We are a non-profit community-based service which assists police and other emergency services in providing immediate, short-term emotional and practical support to victims and their families. Our agency provides service 24 hour per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.
Working with Emergency Services personnel to meet the needs of victims, our Trained Crisis Responders:
- Are supportive and non-judgmental
- Help the victim regain a sense of personal control and safety
- Arrange transportation to a safe location
- Help contact supportive family members or friends with consent of the client
- Help arrange security repairs
- Provide referral services to community resources for follow-up and support
