About this service
KW Habilitation supports children and adults in many homes throughout the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. In a caring environment, people have the opportunity to develop and enjoy individual interests and skills and participate as an active member of a household. We offer individualized and person-centered supports that focus on self-determination, personal choice, responsibility, contentment and inclusion and provide opportunities to participate in and contribute to activities in the community to help create a good life.
Who can use it?
A referral from the sunbeam developmental services resource centre (children) or developmental services ontario central west region (adults) is required to access the services funded in part by mccss and offered by kw habilitation for children and adults. Both are the single point of access for all inclusive living and community and employment supports and services for people with a developmental disability within the region of waterloo.
