About this organization
The Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is located at our Hotel Dieu Hospital (HDH) site and the entrance is at 144 Brock Street, near the corner of Bagot and Brock streets.
The UCC is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 365 days of the year and is for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including deep cuts or wounds needing stitches; various types of minor infections of the ear, urinary tract, or respiratory system; sprains; strains; deep bruises; mild to moderate asthma attacks; and insect bites and rashes. Patients are usually treated and able to go home.
All patients registered before 8:00 p.m. will be assessed and treated.
