About this organization

The overall composition of our Elliot Lake Family Health Team (ELFHT) is key to our ability to better serve and to provide quality health care to the residents of Elliot Lake and surrounding area.

The organizational chart provided outlines the current structure of the ELFHT. The team is staffed with 10 physicians, a complement of 23 full-time positions and 9 part-time positions.

The Elliot Lake Family Health Team first opened its doors July 02, 2007 thanks to the hard work and progressive thinking of a group of physicians at three (3) established clinics (Family Health Centre, Mary Walk and Hillside) and city leaders. They recognized the value of combining resources to help them better manage the shortage of physicians and the challenges of managing many patients with multiple chronic diseases.
