About this service
VSLG’s Senior Safety Program helps older adults in Leeds & Grenville stay safe and learn about elder abuse. Working with local police (OPP, Brockville Police, Gananoque Police) and community health agencies, it offers free home safety audits and personalized safety planning to keep homes safer. Teams of two can meet with you to provide support, information, and referrals, or, if you prefer, help by phone and mail information kits you can read on your own. You do not need to be a crime victim or have a police referral - any older adult interested in making themselves or their home less vulnerable can take part.
