About this service
The Foot Care Program is a part of the Diabetes Program offered by Central Hastings Family Health Team. The program is aimed at people living with diabetes who are at a higher risk of developing foot complications and ulcers. All patients under this program receive a comprehensive foot checkup by their family doctor or nurse practitioner. Those diagnosed with foot problems may be referred to a foot care nurse. For more information about this program, patients are encouraged to speak to their healthcare provider.
