SWIMMING LEVELS LIFESAVING SOCIETY SWIM FOR LIFE PROGRAM

The Municipality of Centre Hastings offers a variety of swimming programs and levels at the Madoc Pool as part of the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program. The different levels cater to all ages, from 4 months to adults, ensuring water safety and promoting enjoyment in the water. For toddlers, there are different stages of the 'Parent and Tot' program. Pre-school age programs focus on becoming comfortable in and around the water, learning basic swim skills, and becoming more adventurous in the water, with parental participation optional depending on the child's comfort. For kids above five years and adults, the 'Swimmer' programs help them become increasingly efficient and confident in the water, learning different strokes, advanced swimming techniques, first aid, and aquatic rescue skills. Advanced swimmers are trained in sophisticated aquatic skills and are prepared for potential water emergencies. The Madoc Pool programs for the 2023 season enable participants to progress through different swimming levels.
