About this service
AMHS - HPE (Hastings Prince Edward) - Madoc - Housing provides a range of housing services to individuals requiring assistance in the community. They offer an internal Supportive Housing and Homelessness Program, which includes rental subsidies and support to maintain accommodation. In addition, there is a Housing Resource and Coordination program where the Housing Coordinator offers various supports related to housing and maintains regular contact with landlords. They also offer short-term residential crisis services in collaboration with the Crisis Intervention Centre. Finally, AMHS-HPE operates two five-bed minimum-support group homes, which are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Southeast Local Health Integration Network. Each resident of these homes has their own room and shares common areas. These homes are staffed approximately 3.5 hours per day and operate 5 days per week.
