About this service
Big Futures provides youth aged 15-18 with stability, support, and guidance as they begin to expand their knowledge of the larger world and find their unique place within it. Brothers Big Sisters' post-secondary and career readiness mentoring programs are designed to enhance critical thinking, flexibility, and preparedness for youth mentees. Youth mentees are becoming more resilient - supporting them in finding resources (e.g. application support, financial support, interview support) that would help them reach their educational and/or professional goals. Youth mentees are becoming connected - feeling comfortable talking to their mentor(s) about their educational and/or job options. Youth mentees are becoming prepared - feeling that Big Brothers Big Sisters better prepared them for post-secondary education and/or a job.
