The Belleville NP-LC (Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic) offers comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. The Nurse Practitioner (NP), a registered nurse with advanced university education, provides personalized treatment ranging from primary to holistic care, health promotion, wellness check-ups, chronic disease management, and prevention. The NP also offers counseling, education, diagnoses through valid tests, and refers patients to other healthcare professionals when necessary. The NPs work together with physicians, nurses, social workers, and several other healthcare professionals including physical therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, mental health professionals, and midwives. All NPs must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario to practice in the province. The Belleville NP-LC is open for consultation via phone call during working hours.
