The Belleville Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (BNPLC) is a non-profit organization founded in August 2010. Designed to provide primary healthcare for individuals without specific healthcare resources in Hastings, Lennox & Addington, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties, the BNPLC is governed by a Board of Directors and funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The clinic offers comprehensive, accessible, patient-centered primary health services to individuals of all ages and health conditions. Consisting of an interprofessional collaboration of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, a social worker, a pharmacist, a dietitian, chiropractors, and administrative staff, BNPLC treats patients registered with the clinic, focusing on patients' care, well-being, health promotion, and disease prevention.
