About this service
The Social Work program at the Quinte Children's Treatment Centre (QCTC) provides key support for Canadian families, particularly those with children who have special needs. The support services offered by QCTC's registered Social Worker include home visits, psychosocial assessments, bereavement and grief counseling, crisis intervention counseling, individual, family, and group therapy, community consultation and liaison, and assistance with funding applications. The Social Worker also aids children and young adults with special needs in their move towards independence, identifying resources and setting goals. The services are only available to clients of the QCTC.
