About this organization

We screen and match volunteers and paid workers to provide respite services to families with dependents who have intellectual disabilities. Offering respite care service for special needs children & adults, summer recreation program for special needs children & adults, weekly social program for special needs adults and university-based social program for teens with special needs. Opal Fredericton Respite Services provides ongoing support to special needs families, facilitates provision of support, organizes various social events and provides education and awareness to the community about special needs.
