About this service
Opal staff and volunteers facilitate a weekly social and recreation group for youth aged 12-19. Activities include games, baking, crafts, community service projects, and monthly outings. Youth with disabilities often face bullying, and social isolation. Opals Youth Group offers opportunities for social and recreational activities in an inclusive environment. This enhances life-skills, social skills, physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and promotes positive friendships.
Occurs on Wednesday evenings from September-June and costs only $2.
