About this service
We work with child care providers, families and community agencies to support children who are presenting behavioural, developmental and social-emotional needs or challenges in child care settings. This includes licensed child care facilities, family child care homes and nursery schools.
Our purpose is to build positive relationships, support development and promote quality care for children.
What we offer
For families, licensed child care centres and family child care homes.
A Behaviour Support Coordinator will work with you to develop a comprehensive service plan. This may involve working with your provider to find better ways of understanding and meeting your childs needs, new strategies and resources and/or a relevant workshop or coaching for the child care staff. We offer professional support, guidance and referrals to other services in the community.
