About this service
For children who are attending school, Assiniboine Children's Centre offers care before school, lunch, and after school. The School Age Program is based on the understanding that school age children want an environment that offers choices and includes programming that is fun, challenging, stimulating, safe, respectful and caters to their individual needs and interests. Along with the Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants guidance and direction, the school age children have opportunities for leadership, active involvement and choices based on their interests. On holiday days and inservice days, field trips are offered along with special theme days.
