About this service
Providing care and developmentally appropriate programming for children ages 5 and 6 years old, ACC's Kindergarten Program is licensed for 20 children. Under the guidance and instruction from the Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants, the Kindergarten Program builds on the learning that children obtain in the formal kindergarten classrooms that schools provide, while still maintaining an appreciation and understanding for the importance of play in the overall development of kindergarten age children. Children are offered outdoor play, arts and crafts, formal learning times and field trips, all while developing a sense of independence.
