About this service
Assiniboine Children's Centre has two rooms that are designated specifically for the care and growth of children ages 3 to 5 years old. Under the respectful care, nurturing and educational programming of the Early Childhood Educators and childcare assistants, 40 children are able to participate in the Program at one time. Children are offered a wide variety of experiences including outdoor play, field trips, a formal music program, arts and crafts, literacy science, math skills and of course, play and socialization. When a child turns 5 or is enrolled in a kindergarten class, they move to ACC's Kindergarten Program.
