About this service
Located at 1222 Yukon Street, Park Place Apartments offers six, three-bedroom market-based affordable housing units for families with children. The building has coin-operated laundry, solar assisted hot water, and one wheelchair accessible unit.
One of the main social issues facing Victoria is the lack of affordable housing, especially for families. Fernwood NRG has responded to the challenge by building 10 three-bedroom market-based affordable housing units in Fernwood between 2006 and 2009. Four units were added in 2006 in the Cornerstone Building, and six units were added in 2008 at the Park Place Apartments on Yukon Street. Our organization continues to find new and creative ways to support low-income families and provide affordable housing within Fernwood.
At this time Fernwood NRG does not maintain a waitlist.
