About this service
WENFN is a diverse, inclusive, and intergenerational network of community members and collaborating organizations working together for a just, sustainable and resilient food system in the West End. Activities include monthly community potlucks, West End Urban Garden Club seniors project, community seed libraries and Seed Savers Club, West End Urban Gardening Calendar, plant swaps, about 40 workshops a year, searching for community gardening space, WeBee group and Mason Bee House project, permaculture, Native Edible walks, swapping food, nutrition, and gardening information, holiday celebrations, 100-in-1 Day (Community Partner), West End Food Festival (Community Partner), participation in local fairs/street festivals, and Food Scrap Drop Spots (2012-15),
