About this service
Gordon Neighbourhood House operates a few local urban farms. They are as diverse as the people they engage-heads of lettuce bloom next to herbs, brassicas and carrots. Its primary function is to produce nutrient dense produce, which is then harvested and used to create healthy meals for the Community Lunch Program, as well as for use in various other programs and initiatives. We are always looking for additional space and volunteers if you have any ideas, contact Joey.
