About this organization

A Loving Spoonful is a volunteer-driven, non-partisan Society that provides free, nutritious meals to people living with HIV and co-existing illness in Metro Vancouver and the surrounding areas.

We are here to provide nutritional support for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. Anyone living with HIV/AIDS is welcome to apply for service. Once we receive your referral, we will set up an assessment with you, carried out by our Director of Client Services, dietitian, or a highly trained volunteer.

We take client referrals from medical professionals and other AIDS service organizations. Please be aware that priority is given to clients with a medical barrier to food security.
