NEED2 works every day to prevent deaths by suicide through our in-school programs and online presence. We run Youthspace.ca - a digital text and chat helpline for Canadians under 30 (open 6pm-12am PST every night.) With our SEA (Suicide Education & Awareness) program, we start important conversations about mental health and suicide in middle schools and high schools, and teach students how to better help themselves and their peers with mental health. Mindfulness for Middle School gives younger children tools to cope with stress and anxiety to promote mental wellness as they grow. We also facilitate community workshops (ASIST, safeTALK) and run a peer support group for adults bereaved by suicide loss.
