About this service
Serves the emergency needs of people in the Prince George area, based on an individual emergency needs assessment. Services include emergency food, clothing, and funding for unexpected healthcare or travel costs. Emergency food hampers are available from 2 pm to 3 pm Mondays to Thursdays, with personal identification and proof of address. A clothes closet is open by request during office hours, including for emergency winter clothing. Clothing and food come from donations, as well as a community kitchen and community gardens. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded in part by Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch. Fax: (250) 563-0924.
