Prince George New Hope Society

At New Hope we recognize that there is a lack of services for marginalized women in Prince George, particularly women working in the sex industry. New Hope is the only sex worker support organization in all of northern BC. Our mandate is to identify and address barriers to accessing supports and services that marginalized women, both adults and youth, face while working in the sex industry (including those who identify as sexually exploited or sex trafficked). We strive to develop and maintain a continuum of essential services geared towards active sex workers living in and around Prince George; support and promote experiential leadership; promote harm reduction and distribute harm reduction materials; improve the health status of people living with HIV/AIDS and HCV; and, facilitate low barrier educational opportunities that will empower women who live and work in this environment.
