Children and Youth: Dissipating Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma

Dissipating depression, anxiety and trauma is an online course created at pathways addictions resource centre by stephen p. King, alicia totten and tammy semple as a result of their extensive education, training and experience in working with youth. The intention of this course is to provide techniques and information to both professionals and non-professionals to support any young person who may be experiencing challenges such as living with shock, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm tendencies, suicidal ideation, and nightmares. Included is information about specific social challenges that children and youth are exposed to as well as tools to help them collapse and clear trauma.

This course is appropriate for both professionals and non-professionals, including: teachers, clinicians and counsellors, therapists and other service providers, psychologists and psychiatrists parents, caregivers and guardians, students of the aforementioned disciplines.

Those who work with trauma/shock survivors or those who are trauma/shock victims themselve
