About this service
The wraparound program provides a comprehensive program to reduce the risk of placement breakdown for youth in care, and develop the capacity of their family-based caregivers to manage their care on an ongoing basis. The program provides direct intervention and support services to referred children in care and/or their foster families and case management support to other service providers involved. The focus is to help the child or youth and family increase their: attachment of children in care with their families/foster families resiliency capacity to manage childs needs and behaviours interpersonal and life skills family/coping strategies natural and community resources
