About this organization
Child and family counselling sessions with your child may involve cognitive, behavioural or expressive therapies. An expressive therapy session can include working with media selected by you or your child such as sand play, art, storytelling, writing, music, dress-up, puppetry, etc. Creative play in therapy supports the processing of events and emotions, allows mindset growth and new skills. Through play, children are able to emotionally, physically and cognitively process events. This approach is highly effective with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, chronic pain and sleeping issues.
