About this service
At monarch child and family counselling we take care to provide our clients quality and ethical counselling. Services are personalized to the individual's needs. Therapeutic sessions are typically 60 minutes for individual or family sessions. New parenting groups. Depending on the child's age, the first meeting and intake may be conducted with the parent(s) only. This allows for parents to give a detail background to their child's development and describe their goals for counselling. After the initial assessment, sessions are conducted with the parent(s) and child or with your child alone, as best fits the situation. Parents that participate in sessions with the child are to support and enhance the child's therapeutic process.
