About this organization

One question people often ask when they first visit us is, What does Maranatha mean? In short, Maranatha is a Bible word that means Our Lord, come! It is a cry from the human heart inviting God into our lives and world.

At Maranatha Church, we believe that God is, and must be, the source and origin of real ministry and that he inspires men and women to participate in this ministry with him. In other words, we only want to do the things that God wants us to do.

That being said, there are many things that God has inspired us to do in service to others, and we are continually paying attention to the voice of his Spirit for new ways he wants us to minister to people. These various ministries are in line with our vision, values and beliefs.
