Fort Canoe Kayak Club

Fort Canoe Kayak Club is a not-for-profit group of people who enjoy paddling canoe and kayak competitively and for recreation. Our competitive programs participate in the sport of sprint canoe kayak. As a member of Canoe Kayak BC (PSO) and Canoe Kayak Canada (NSO), our club offers a variety of ways to get involved in the sport. Over the last 20 years we have been supporting motivated athletes to reach their goals, and have a number of national and international champions who call our club home. In addition to our strong competitive programs, we also offer programs for all skill levels and age 8 to 80. (Until Mario turns 81, then the age is level is 81). We always welcome new paddlers, even with no experience. Our certified and accomplished coaching staff will help you with whatever you need! Our club culture is positive and encouraging. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive atmosphere that goes all the way from the Board of Directors, to the coaches and the athletes. Whether you have your eyes set on the Olympics or leisurely exploring the Bedford Channel, we strive to build a community where everyone feels welcome regardless of their goals!
