About this service
Our summer camps are a great way for children to spend summer outside developing a healthy, happy, and active lifestyle! Our coaches will introduce your children to recreational kayak paddling and involve them in a variety of on and off water activities. Canoe and kayak can help kids develop teamwork, grow self confidence and try new things. Children leave summer camp having developed a new set of paddling skills, a bunch of new friends...and having had lots of fun! Our one week summer camps run full days, half day mornings, or half day afternoons. Our coaches are experienced and certified Canoe Kids coaches. After your week of camp is over, ask about joining our year round team! Health and safety are our top priority, so all programs are run following provincial guidelines and using Canoe Kayak BC policies. Ages: 8-14 years old Experience: Beginners welcome, no previous paddling experience necessary Full Day: Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) 9:00am - 4:00pm Half Day: Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) 9:00am - 12:00pm or 1:00pm - 4:00pm Location: Paddlesport Dock on Bedford Channel (see map here)
