About this service
Provides an alternative-to-custody sentencing option for youth in conflict with the law, and/or supports the re-integration of high-risk young offenders in the community following a period in custody, assisting youth to address factors leading to their illegal behaviours and improve their functioning in the community. Provides support and monitoring to high-risk young offenders in complying with conditions of their probation order; the service assists the youth probation team in providing supervision to high-risk young offenders in the community. Services include individual counselling, parenting support, recreation, and case management support. Works in conjunction with, and referrals through, the MCFD Probation Team.
